Job Description:

LightFeather is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to support the design, development, and deployment of ServiceNow solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ServiceNow development, integrations, and customization while adhering to best practices and industry standards.

  • Location: In-Person (5 days/week) in Washington, DC
  • Job Type: Full Time
  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship Required
  • Clearance Requirement: Active Secret/Top Secret Security Clearance RequiredResponsibilities:
    • Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications to meet business requirements.
    • Implement ServiceNow App Engine, Service Portal, and other relevant modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and SecOps.
    • Develop and maintain workflows, UI policies, UI actions, business rules, client scripts, and catalog items using JavaScript, GlideScript, and ServiceNow APIs.
    • Perform integrations between ServiceNow and external enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, and MID Servers.
    • Work within an Agile development environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
    • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
    • Follow ServiceNow best practices to maintain system integrity, security, and performance optimization.
    • Document technical specifications, configurations, and development processes.
    • Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Required Qualifications and Skills:
      • US Citizenship.
      • Active clearance at the Secret level or above.
      • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ServiceNow development.
      • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
      • Proficiency in ServiceNow App Engine development and Service Portal customization.
      • Experience in ServiceNow integrations with enterprise applications.
      • Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, scripting, and automation.
      • Strong scripting skills in JavaScript, GlideScript, and ServiceNow Scripting API.
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment with minimal supervision.
      • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify technical solutions.
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
      • Ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
      • Experience with system performance optimization and security best practices.
      • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
      • Must be able to work on-site (5 days/week) in Washington, DC.Preferred:
        • Experience developing HR systems within ServiceNow.
        • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Flow Designer, and Scoped Applications.
        • Familiarity with ATF (Automated Test Framework) for quality assurance.
