Technology and Security (IDT&S) organization Specialized
Infrastructure Operations group is currently seeking a Senior
Systems Administrator to join the team in Herndon, VA. At Boeing,

space. The Senior System Administrator will handle system
administration tasks, including infrastructure management,
information security, software installation, and configuration
control. This role involves creating innovative solutions to
technical challenges, providing system support with modern tools,
and overseeing the design and performance of computing systems for
effective capacity planning and disaster recovery. Position
Responsibilities: - Oversees system integration, hardware and
software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and
workstations to support the architecture - Provides complex problem
resolution, root cause analysis and technical support for delivery
systems - Participates in the design, validation and configuration
management of computing delivery systems - Plans and coordinates
system changes - Administers user system access and establishes
safeguards to protect information to meet security requirements -
Oversees activities to monitor system performance to support
capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning - Mentors,
leads and trains others Basic Qualifications (Required
Skills/Experience): - Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation
(T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation
(SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years or agreed
to enter a Continuous Vetting program such that 5 year updates are
no longer required - Active Full Scope Polygraph - 5 years of
experience as a systems administrator - 5 years of experience
working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the
business from individual contributors to executive leadership
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): - 5 or more
years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of
education and experience - Active certifications in Cloud, INFOSEC,
etc. - Experience with Virtualization (AHV, VMWare ESXi, Hyper-V,
etc.) - Experience with VDI infrastructure, monitoring
infrastructure, securing infrastructure, documenting in confluence
and task tracking in Jira Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug

experience and qualifications, as well as market and business
considerations. Summary pay range for Level 4: $116,450 - $157,550
Summary pay range for Level 5: $139,400 - $188,600 Applications for
