At Securitas Inc., a global leader in protective services, we are currently seeking a dedicated Embedded Service Technician I to join our Information Technology team. This role is instrumental in maintaining the high-security standards and operational efficiency of our technology solutions used worldwide. As part of our Technical Support & Troubleshooting department, you will work closely with clients to ensure the smooth functioning of embedded systems within various security devices. Install, configure, and maintain embedded systems in security devices. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to embedded systems. Perform regular system upgrades to ensure technology meets the security needs. Collaborate with the development team to improve system functionality and efficiency. Document technical procedures and user manuals for clients and internal use. Provide hands-on technical support to clients and conduct regular training sessions. Ensure compliance with security standards and policies throughout the process. Proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python Strong understanding of Linux/UNIX operating systems Experience with hardware design and troubleshooting Ability to read schematics and data sheets for components Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is preferred CompTIA Security certification Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is a plus
