to grow your career. The Team: Verisign’s “ATLAS” platform
implementation team is a high performing, agile team who builds
horizontally scalable, high performance, and highly available
systems. As part of the team, you will be involved in designing and
implementing new capabilities for this platform, and also in
deployment using CI/CD principles. You will be working with the
software that fundamentally enables the internet to operate at
scale. The Person: We’re looking for a mid-level software engineer
who demonstrate: strong collaboration skills a track record for
high quality and impactful delivery demonstrating strong design
skills and a passion for code quality true craftsmanship, who
enjoys breaking down tough problems passion for producing quality
code and dedicated to best practices such as automated testing,
code reviews, continuous integration, and continuous deployment
that they are an agent for change, constantly learning and seeking
better outcomes skill at interacting and working with people in a
positive manner to mitigate key project technical risks and ensure
quality Required Skills: Has solid understanding of writing
software in C++ or similar system-level programming language Python
or similar scripting language Proven foundation in Computer Science
fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, operating systems,
object-oriented design) Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools
(e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, Ansible) Proficient with Linux Outstanding
problem solving and trouble-shooting skills Excellent teammate who
enjoys a collaborative team environment Relevant Experience: 5
years of relevant work experience in software development 2 years
of C++ or similar system-level programming language Working on an
Agile software development team Bachelor’s Degree in Computer
Science or related field, or equivalent work experience Bonus
Skills: Hands on experience with the Rust programming language
Familiarity with DNS at the protocol level Familiarity with
containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes This position is
based in our Reston, VA office and offers a hybrid work schedule.
The pay range is $108,900 - $147,300. The anticipated annual base
salary range for this position is noted above, however, base pay
offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills,
experience. Verisign offers a discretionary bonus which is based on
individual and company performance, and certain roles may be
eligible for discretionary stock awards. Verisign is an equal
