Job Description:
Location: Arlington, VA Clearance Required: TS/SCI minimum (US
Citizen) Employment Type: Full-Time Praescient Analytics has an
immediate opening for a Data Analyst to support a DoD contract in
Arlington, VA. This will be an onsite position and U.S. Citizenship
is required. As a Data Analyst, you will need experience in the
following: Responsibilities: Perform quantitative analysis, data
mining, and data presentation to evaluate data, identify trends,
and translate analysis into recommendations that can be shared and
acted upon. Ingest, clean, exploit, visualize, analyze, and model
data from element sources. Manipulate large volumes of data, both
structured and unstructured, with the ability to analyze and
present findings to support decision-making. Find new data sources
and assist in evaluation of new tools and methodologies. Required
Education/Experience/Certifications: Active TS/SCI or higher
clearance (Must Have) Candidates must have either a Bachelor's
Degree or higher and 3 years of applicable Data Analysis /
Engineering experience or a High School Diploma and 6 years of
applicable Data Analysis / Engineering experience. Demonstrated
experience building data visualizations with a business
intelligence tool (Power BI or Tableau) Strong programming skills,
including data-querying skills (SQL and/or Spark, etc.) and
experience with a scripting language for data processing and
development (e.g., Python, R, or Scala) Experienced in building and
maintaining large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines that are optimized for
performance and can handle data from various sources, structured or
unstructured Proficiency in data science, machine learning and
