DevOps Engineer The Opportunity: Everyone is trying to “harness the cloud”, but not everyone knows how. As a DevOps engineer, you’re eager to develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets your client’s needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. We need you to develop container management sof tware to solve some of our clients’ toughest challenges. As a senior platform DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change. On our team, you’ll hone your skills using the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client’s environment with current container sof tware to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your DevOps platform experience, you’ll support your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process. You’ll recommend resources that will help your client manage and securely adopt containers. Additionally, you’ll continue to strengthen your DevOps skills while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms. Work with us to use cloud platform technology for good. Join us. You Have: 5 years of experience in IT systems development 5 years of experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments using tools such as Jenkins or Harness Experience with Infrastructure as Code, including CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible Experience with containers, including Docker, and container orchestration, including Kubernetes Experience delivering DevSecOps solutions in a cloud-based environment, including AWS, GCP, or Azure Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions Experience creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks Experience leading teams of DevSecOps Engineers and Platform Engineers Experience with site reliability engineering, including working with an observability stack Micro sof t Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solution Architect Professional, and Google Cloud Architect, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certification Vetting: Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client . Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
