Perspecta is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories Responsibilities The primary objective of this Intelligence Community contract is to provide integration and closure; foundational system engineering processes; mission assurance; service management; Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE); & Verification, Validation and Transition (VV&T) systems engineering and technical support services to an Intelligence Community customer that will enable it to execute its responsibilities efficiently and effectively while ensuring mission success. The team is responsible for overseeing the acquisition-level closure of requirements; overseeing system level readiness events in support of enterprise, system and acquisition-level milestones; leading and supporting project planning; assessing schedule and risk; maintaining the document configuration management baseline; providing technical support for the planning and execution of enterprise and system-level verification, validation and transition activities for national assets; generating and presenting engineering briefings; and interfacing with numerous customers. Additionally, Perspecta is responsible for configuring, operating, and maintaining the customer's Systems Engineering business process tools as well as developing an integrated approach to implement Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). The System Administrator is responsible for configuring, operating, and maintaining the customer's Systems Engineering business process tools to support processes to include configuration management, risk, issue and opportunity management, schedule management, architecture management, and requirements management and provides system administrator functions for the tools. The Digital Engineering Team also provides user training on systems engineering business process tools and has a large emphasis on identify opportunities to optimize systems and tool execution through automating processes, consolidating or migrating existing tools, and/or acquiring new tools. As a member of the Digital Engineering Team, the team member will be responsible for the configuration of the COTS application to support tools transition and integration efforts supporting the contractors' and customers' needs. Responsibilities include: -- * Assess user requirements; design and configure user interfaces; perform integration testing. * The applicant will also perform system administration tasks supporting our cloud environment. Upgrades patches and migrations are just some of the tasks being performed. * Designs, develops, evaluates and modifies systems and systems-oriented products. * Gathers information concerning the capabilities of Company products; investigates the technical capabilities of Company products and competing equipment and/or solutions; stays abreast of developments in hardware and software; analyzes customer problems; assists in designing systems to satisfy customer needs. * Researches, collects, and reports information on the ability and capacity of Company products and competitors. * Coordinates resolution of product/service issues, upgrades, and problems. * Prepares equipment analysis to instruct sales force and customers in equipment capabilities. * May prepare and present sales proposals. * Coordinates the planning, design, and installation of equipment, using knowledge of engineering and programming as well as sophisticated instruments and computers. Provides supervision of the customer installation of hardware and software. * Conducts system calibrations after the hardware and software are installed and provides technical guidance. Qualifications Required Skills: -- * Requires 8 to 10 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years with MS/MA or 3 to 5 years with PhD. * Must have an active TS/SCI and Security + Certification * Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team * Demonstrated ability to communicate with team lead to prioritize tasks * Well rounded working knowledge of IT concepts and best practices * Experience analyzing COTS software capabilities to aid tool integration * Experience configuring COTS software to fit customers' requirements and processes Desired Skills: -- * Experience evaluating and testing COTS software functionality. * Experience developing and troubleshooting work-flows * Experience identifying, researching, and testing alternative solutions * Experience with DB2 * Experience with Windows 2008R2 OS, Eclipse Client * Experience with Installs/Upgrades / Automation / IaaS * Knowledge of Agile terminology, theories and best practices * Knowledge of Java and VBA * Knowledge of IBM Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM) Tool Suite * Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) in C2S * Network + Certification -- Category: Information Technology Top Secret/SCI
