Let---s make an impact together.Perspecta is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categoriesResponsibilities:Description: The objective of the Enterprise Technical Reference Architecture Project is to collect, document,-- maintain, and coordinate useful technical information about specific subject areas that provide guidance, direction, and constraint to the development of multiple architectures and solutions for the modernization and transformation of the GEOINT IT enterprise. Reference Architectures have wide---ranging purposes, uses, levels of detail, and levels of abstraction. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will have a strong understanding and relevant experience developing technical reference architectures in DoD, the IC, or relvant commercial domain experience. Specific task responsibilities may include:Perform the project lead duties of a SEIN contract project lead; including building strong customer relationship with GPOC(s), provide tasking direction to the ETRA team, keeping the project information, schedule, accomplishments and items of interest information up to date in the program tool suite.Coordinate with subject matter experts, enterprise architects, and other engineering and development stakeholders to identify and baseline suitable patterns of architecture and /or design elements in core areas of the enterprise architecture including but not limited to: services/Applications, service management, data architecture, Infrastructure, security, standardsSynthesize architecture principles and technical positions that align with Organizational, Business, and Technical Objectives for transforming the enterprise that may be applied to contractual documents to guide and constrain proposed solutions.Identify technical standards profiles for GEOINT and IT standards applicable to solution architectures to impose interoperability between many and diverse GEOINT and business services solutionsResearch emerging technologies and solutions planned in the technology roadmapRecommend changes in processes, policies, and applicable standards as they relate to the architecture and design principles to ensure that a consistent framework is applied across the agencyProvide technical guidelines and constraints for alignment with the Joint Architecture --Reference Model (JARM).Develop assessments, presentations, white papers and other analyses, as requiredCommunicate reference architecture concepts and demonstrate value to customers not versed in reference architecture principlesQualifications:Required Qualifications:TS/SCI Clearance (with a current SSBI favorably adjudicated within the last 5 years)BS in Engineering, Information Systems Technology or related field 16+ years in Systems Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, or related technical experienceConceptual knowledge or experience in developing technical reference architectures, with a minimum of 10 years of recent agency-specific experience 5+ years--- experience with the Customer and/or IC partners knowledge domain Working knowledge of key community reference models (JARM, FEA-CRM)Familiarity with NSG programs to include both legacy systems, as well as key concepts for future vision architecture (e.g., Cloud hosting, platform-as-a-service, and other IC ITE initiatives) and servicesStrong project management/leadership skills with demonstrated experience successfully managing or leading a project teamVery strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and multi-tasking skillsStrong customer service mindsetExperience facilitating technical exchange meetings and client engagements, to include deep dive working sessions to solve complex problemsDemonstrated ability to explain technical issues clearly/accurately to technical/non-technical audiencesDemonstrated ability to establish effective customer relationships with senior level government personnelDemonstrated ability to work independently and within a team environment; especially leveraging expertise available from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)Desired Qualifications: Advanced degree or certification in a technical fieldEnterprise Architicture Certification by a recognized Government or academic institution Knowledgeable about IC Cloud Computing Initiatives and tenets of Cloud ComputingWorking knowledge of the IC JARMFamiliarity with enterprise architecture development and analysisFamiliarity with solution architecture and solutions development efforts Familiarity with other Federal architecture models and frameworksExcellent facilitation, oral presentation, and writing skills to include reference architecture-- developmentFamiliarity with the application of knowledge management concepts and toolsWorking knowledge of agile engineering principles, Scrum agile, or SAFe Agile methodologies
