Job Description:
Raytheon Mission Solutions is seeking a skilled software developer with experience developing front-end and web interface solutions employing HTML5, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and JavaScript. The candidate will work with a small team to design, test, and deploy applications and mobile software tools. The candidate will collaborate with team members to define requirements and rapidly prototype solutions. Initiative and problem solving skills will be essential in determining the best approach to solve ad-hoc or planned development goals. The candidate will work with other team members to track and integrate efforts towards common goals, and interact with program management to receive guidance and report status. Required Skills: Minimum 6 years- experience in front-end and web interface software development Experienced developing solutions with HTML5, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), JavaScript, and JQuery libraries Experience leveraging JavaScript Frameworks (i.e., AngularJS, Backbone, Ember, or ReactJS) * Team player with excellent communication skills Desired Skills: Experience with: Front End Frameworks such as Bootstrap CSS Preprocessors RESTful Services and APIs Responsive and Mobile design Cross-Browser Development Experience with Software Configuration Management, Revision, and Version Control Tools such as Git * Solid understanding of Linux environment, Android SDK and NDK * Experienced programming in one or more languages that include Java, JavaScript, and Python, C, C++, and C # Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills; literate in desktop computing and application programs (Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes) * Existing TS/SCI security clearance with full polygraph Required Education (including Major): B.S./B.A. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline or equivalent experience 118479 Raytheon is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
