Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector/Integrated Intelligence
business unit is seeking a Cyber Systems Administrator 4 for a
program that provides large scale development, testing, deployment
and O&M for the HUMINT community. The successful candidate will
support the full life cycle development of components using COTS,
GOTS, and various in-house applications. The individual will work
with members of a diverse project team and participate in the
overall design and creation of web-based and other software
applications and must possess excellent communication skills.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the
development of big data analytics using C2S managed services and
re-design legacy applications to host Java and cloud
The location is Chantilly, VA.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage a big data application in the cloud.
Assess server loads and work with tech lead on developing tuning
Build servers: Provide technical configuration, setup, installation
services, hardware and coordination for application projects.
Communicate outage/degradation of server to management
Create and/or update the Asset Management record- responsible for
integrity of asset management record.
Create request for service support (SRS) from internal/external
Execute tasks in the following areas: change request, trouble
ticket, routine operation and maintenance, and server build.
Implement baseline changes under tech lead oversight
Perform operating system software updates/upgrades
Perform technical evaluations, analysis, and troubleshooting for
all "supported" servers in response to Help Desk Tickets- which
includes but not limited the following activities: Server failures,
full system outage.
A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,
Engineering and a minimum of 9 years related experience. An
additional 6 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a
Must have an active TS/SCI/Poly clearance
Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience of computer
hardware and software, including applications and programming /
circuit boards / processors/ chips or electronic equipment
Demonstrated experience of multiple specialties such as operating
systems, email or database platforms, storage technologies, or
hardware support, including knowledge of operating systems (e.g.,
Windows, UNIX, and LINUX).
Understanding of basic C2S services
Experience with analytic applications
Experience working at a Customer site
Demonstrated experience of existing server technologies including
principles and methods used in obtaining maximum utilization of
Demonstrated experience assessing the technical characteristics of
new operating capabilities proposed for inclusion in the network to
determine potential impact on network performance
Demonstrated experience processing customer requests and meeting
quality standards for service.
Demonstrated ability to draft requirements documents,
correspondence and procedures in accordance with policies
Demonstrated experience and use of Communications and Information
Security policies and practices.
