And our work depends on a Customer Service Information Technology Officer (CSITO) joining our team to support Government activities at Chantilly location. At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a CSITO supporting the customer, you will be trusted to provide in-depth Tier 1 and Tier 2 support and problem resolution for technology products and/or applications. In this role, a typical day will include: Provide 24-hour IS operational support. Monitor and manage applications, hardware and accesses across the overall enterprise Review reports of critical issues and ensure appropriate resources are assigned to problem. May make resource management and work prioritization decisions. Create, lead, or participate in various quick response “tiger teams” comprised of technical experts tasked with resolving an operational problem or service outage. Document situation reports and provides impact analysis Provide thorough IT consulting, triage and problem resolution for technical products and/or applications. Interacts with customers to troubleshoot and resolve moderately completes issues Coordinates the transition of IT service policies that impact IT infrastructure Propose and review new concepts, program plans, and/or policies to provide substantive input that guides implementation, including writing security plans, MOUs and SLAs. Recommends upgrades of hardware and software, or modifications to procedures to improve efficiency and maintain regulatory compliance. Gathers and analyzes data; briefs all levels of management on findings. Solicits, analyzes and tracks customer feedback. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Extensive knowledge of the standard operational environment, including (but not limited to) requirement management, desktop technologies, corporate applications, access administration, voice infrastructure, etc. Database user interface and query software – Database software; Microsoft Access MS Office Suite Markup language – HTML Metric Tools RecoverPoint NetApp CDOT Demonstrated experience with LUN migrations between and within arrays. Knowledge of firewall concepts, including host-based firewalls, storage concepts including NFS, iSCSI, and fiber channel storage for vSphere, resource management and capacity planning. Extensive knowledge of lifecycle and programmatic milestones, regardless of project type Basic knowledge of Project Management concepts and principles Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to explain rules, procedures and highly complex technical information clearly and accurately, both orally and in writing Ability to elicit information on moderately complex technical problems from non-technical customers for use in diagnosis, analysis, and resolution of problems requiring significant analysis cross multiple environments Ability to work independently or as a team lead in team environment to resolve customer problems; ability to identify and resolve complex access problems Ability to proactively anticipate customer needs, analyze complex requirements, and ensure expectations are met within feasible cost and time projections Ability to prepare and deliver briefings to convey moderately complex information to peers, customers, and management Ability to serve as team lead, providing feedback, guidance, and direction to and sharing knowledge with fellow members, promoting teamwork and collaboration Ability to develop and implement transition plans for customers for the introduction of new technology platforms High-level knowledge of Cloud technologies MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrated hands-on in-depth knowledge and experience in storage principles including types of storage, RAID types, network storage types, and the best practices of when to use each type Expertise, training and actual work experience with specific computer language, systems, and/or technology Ability to review storage requirements to ensure that the infrastructure supports growth, archive and performance requirements for all supported applications.
