Description APPLY TODAY!Centauri is looking for a Model Base System Engineer in Reston, VA.Responsibilities:Perform technical planning and execution of system modeling and simulation utilizing model-based engineering tools and practices to support enterprise systems engineering activities. Develop descriptive system models, integrate COTS, GOTS, and open source analytic tools to support trade studies, analysis of alternatives, as well as evaluations of system requirements, and tracking of system technical performance measures. Trace related analysis models and results to enterprise tools supporting, requirements development, requests for change, engineering review board, CONOPS and architecture development, Risks, Schedule, and verification, validation & test. Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in science, engineering, math, computer science, or other technical disciplineSystems Engineering experience with Model-Based Engineering applications and technologyIntermediate knowledge and experience with UML, SysML, and related OMG Specifications and toolsObject-Oriented Design and Analysis experience either in system model development or programming languagesDesired Qualifications:Knowledge of engineering analysis and analytical simulation tools such as MATLAB, Systems Toolkit (STK), Mathematica, Modelica, SciPy or SciKit-LearnJava, Javascript, or Python programming experience Experience working in an Agile development environmentFamiliarity with DoD and/or IC5+ years total experienceSecurity Clearance Requirements: Must have an active TS/SCI clearance to be considered for the positionCENTAURI BENEFITS HIGHLIGHTS: Immediate vesting in the 401k with a 10% company contribution Up to $7,500, per year for education reimbursement 10 holidays which you can float Competitive salary, generous sick and vacation time Flex-time and vacation sellback – Ask me about our Flexible Monthly Schedule.
