The Intelligence group provides high-end systems engineering and integration products and services, data analytics and software development to national and military intelligence customers. You will support a large SETA contract responsible for the complete end-to-end life cycle of the customer's Ground Enterprise. The Project performs technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for critical government systems. As SETA’s we assist government procurement agencies develop acquisition strategies, work statements, evaluation plans and qualify vendors. We are involved through the entire acquisition life cycle, from pre-award planning through solicitation preparation, contract award, contract administration and contract close-out.  We support system cradle to grave and everything in between.  We work to constantly improve acquisition policy and procedures to devise strategies for deploying and implementing new acquisition initiatives and measuring the effectiveness of these implementations as part of the system acquisitions we support the development acquisition plans, source selection documents, Independent Government Cost Estimates (ICE), justifications and approvals, synopses, and requests for proposals/quotes/bids. We assist in the development of acquisition packages that include but are not limited to Request for Changes (RFCs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and development contracts.  You will be expected to lead and/or support various program technical and management forums and meetings to include Engineering Review Board (ERBs), Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and Business Management reviews (BMRs) and Project Readiness Reviews.

What You’ll Get to Do:

We are looking for someone to support the Chief Data Officer (CDO) in our customer organization.  You will be a Senior System Engineering & Technical Assistant (SETA) working cooperatively with government, FFRDC, and other SETA contractors.  You will be expected to do the following:


  • Support to the CDO on all actions, briefs and documentation required during to execute the CDO function
  • Execute activities to establish a Data Management Business Function within the organizational Governance Structure; including development and staffing of policy documents (e.g. directive and instructions) for CDO signature
  • Develop and maintain an enterprise data strategy, enterprise data centric execution plan, and other supporting data governance and guidance documents
  • Work internally across the customer enterprise to support data-related activities and initiatives to ensure consistency with and achievement of the enterprise data strategy and data centric objectives
  • Coordinate all aspects of CDO engagements including planning sessions, weekly team meetings and status updates to senior leadership
  • Perform evaluation and assessment of how data-related emerging technologies, processes, and data tagging can be leveraged to move towards greater data centricity and meet compliance requirements
  • Representation of customer equities, as a data/data management SME, in external cross enterprise data-related governance and working forums



You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.
  • Clearance required:  TS/SCI with Poly
  • Expertise and domain knowledge in industry recognized (e.g. DAMA) data management best practices and functional areas
  • Experience and expertise in data architecture and data engineering (including technical expertise)
  • Project management including ability to track and maintain cognizance of a wide variety of priorities, activities and dependencies
  • Ability to lead and facilitate work groups and forums


These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science or related field (Aerospace, Electrical, Math or similar technical degree)
  • Relevant formal education in data management and/or certifications such as CDMP (any level)
