Responsibilities: Excivity is looking for the right candidate for our Corporate IT staff which supports the companys IT and infrastructure engineering. This position is perfect for the candidate who enjoys learning and implementing technologies and security engineering, while performing a critical support role to all of our projects and employees. The company recently invested in a redesign of our network to improve security and project efforts, which is still in the process of being integrated. Excivity considers our progressive and secure IT infrastructure as a critical service within the company and vital to our ability to meet project needs and facilitate corporate culture. Internally, we refer to our IT team as the IT Ninjas.If selected, you will be part of a small team responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of corporate systems, employee computers and connectivity, troubleshooting employee technology problems, integration with corporate IT policies/services, and ensuring our systems meet the security and documentation requirements for government certifications. The ideal candidate will not only have excellent communication skills and customer-focused mindset, but will also have strong technical skills and an eagerness to provide hands-on support with technology investigations and implementation, monitoring, and maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the infrastructure is compliant with all applicable policies while also providing the tools and services needed to meet the demands of the company and projects. This position requires excellent time and management skills to support multiple concurrent IT projects. Ability to support after-hours troubleshooting, incident resolution, and regularly scheduled maintenance is expected. The work location is at Excivity's headquarters building in Chantilly, VA.Responsibilities: Resolve IT support service requests and incidents, including troubleshooting hardware, software and various connectivity and access issuesPerform employee hardware/OS setup and access managementEnsure security and software baselines are enforced with management softwareSupport all network users and ensure the services needed to meet Excivitys mission are available to those users Ensure compliance with all applicable IT policies required by Excivitys customers to include NIST 800-171 and CMMC requirementsPerform ISSM functions for classified systems, including approvals of new systemsProtect Excivity knowledge from outside infiltration, insider threat, and project isolation through encryption, secure data storage, access controls, continuous monitoring, scanning and audits, and other necessary means Ensure completion of regular O tasks to include security patching/updates, log review, access audits, and system backups Maintain documentation on all systems to include architecture, procedures, change logs, and maintenance schedules Maintain user reference documentation and provide user training for IT systemsRegularly communicate and engage (in-person, email newsletters, presentations, etc.) with the workforce to provide both insight to upcoming IT projects/changes and receive feedback on IT services Provide system users with access to well organized overviews, training, guidance, and policies of IT services Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person and remotely Track and manage all IT inventory to include hardware and software licenses Continually monitor and investigate trends in the IT industry, new products, and security advisories to better protect and enhance IT services Qualifications: Qualifications: U.S. Citizen (Required)Bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related field or equivalent hands-on experience (Required)Willingness to support end-users to include after hours on-call support (Required)Administration of Office 365, 1 year (Preferred)Administration and use of Splunk, 1 year (Preferred)Administration of MacOS, Linux, and Windows OS, 2 year (Required)Configure and automate tasks on MacOS using Jamf, 1 year (Preferred)Virtualization Technologies Proxmox or VMware, 2 years (Required)Deployment Automation Technologies -- Ansible, 2 years (Preferred)Customer Service, 2 years (Preferred)Technical Writing, 2 years (Preferred)Understanding of Network Protocols TCP/IP, TLS, VPN, etc, 1 year (Required)LDAP Authentication, 1 year (Preferred)Python and Bash Programming, 1 year (Required)Firewall Administration (Vyos, PFSense, & Fortigate), 1 year (Preferred)CMMC and SSP Documentation, 1 year (Preferred)Understanding of SAML/OAUTH SSO technologies, 1 year (Preferred)Understanding of the DoD CMMC certification process and requirements, 1 year (Preferred)#LI-BP1
