Mosaic is currently seeking a Customer Service Generalist to join the Customer Care Team in our Chantilly, VA Corporate Headquarters. This critical, customer-facing role is designed to support the Mosaic Locations, Mosaic Sales Representatives and all external Mosaic Customers. This position will be responsible for creating quotations, processing orders, administering return requests and other customer support tasks. Additionally, the Customer Service Generalist will provide services through the management of a complex, email-based ordering system and will also be expected to achieve all predetermined deliverables set during each workday.

What Your Day Will Look Like:

  • Gain a familiarity with all three Customer Service Teams: Samples, Residential and Commercial
  • Enter and maintain customer orders in ERP System from creation to final delivery
  • Place and track Customer Quotes, Supplier Purchase Orders, and RMA's
  • Maintain schedules and logistics of all Sales Orders and Supplier Purchase Orders
  • Build trusted relationships with suppliers, customers and team members
  • Provide backup support for locations by answering a multi-line phone system, as needed
  • Communicate all pertinent issues with management in an attempt to resolve as quickly as possible


Who You Are:

  • Have familiarity with servicing customers via email, utilizing ordering systems and using complex reporting tools
  • Capable of thinking and acting independently with minimal supervision
  • Effectively prioritize and adapt in a complex, fast-paced office environment
  • Comfortable building and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external customers
  • Thorough and detail-oriented, with excellent focus on achieving strong customer satisfaction results
  • Highly experienced with computer applications including Microsoft Outlook and Excel

What You Need:

  • 3-5 years of customer service or inside-sales support experience in a non-retail setting is highly preferred
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with extreme attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Background in building materials, remodeling, or interior design highly preferred, but not necessary
