Qualifications

BS 12-15, MS 10-13. Phd 10+

Required skills:

  • Hold an active TS/SCI with Poly
  • Possess a strong Ground Systems Engineering background across the TCPED
  • Experience in ground requirements, architecture, and verification/validation.
  • Experience with system design, development, integration, and testing
  • Experience with System Integration, identifying key integration points
  • Ability to represent key decisions and identify risks to the customer

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous customer requests in a fast pace deadline driven environment
  • Experience supporting IC or DoD in Systems Engineering and Systems Integration
  • Possess SAFE Agile certification and ability to apply agile practices to delivery
  • Possess AWS certification

Responsibilities

This position will be the Technical Lead for the Program that supports an OPIR Joint customer Program Office responsible for acquiring the future Overhead Persistence GEOINT Architecture (OPGA) that will provide the user community with OPIR capabilities in a modular, open architecture that provides global, persistent, real-time surveillance and activity based intelligence information. This position supports a hybrid Agile process with the Government as the overall integrator in a Cloud Environment. Work includes ground requirements development, architecture definition, and ground systems acquisition support. This position will support a Ground Readiness Event of a major acquisition. Successful candidate will be required to demonstrate strong Ground Systems Engineering skills and experience across the TCPED.

As the program Technical Lead, this position is responsible for managing the technical efforts of a team of 15+ people to deliver engineering support to the government program office as part of a larger contract supporting multiple government program offices. This position requires weekly interaction with the contract Program Management Office (PMO) and government customer on team staffing, roles, responsibilities, and contract execution. The Technical Lead provides monthly updates to the program office director on key accomplishments and staffing changes, and to respond to any areas of government concern relative to our support. The Technical Lead briefs contract Program Management Reviews (PMRs) for key technical accomplishments and risks/issues for this team. The Technical Lead engages with the team on a recurring basis on their technical tasks, issues, and to relay program-specific information and mentor the team. The Technical Lead reviews team charging to ensure the team is delivering appropriate hours on contract.
