Job Description:

Coordinates the administration of company benefits programs which include, but are not limited to, medical, dental, disability, life insurance, Section 125 plan, and employee voluntary programs, such as vision and supplemental life insurance. This includes integration of benefit plans, billing codes, etc. with the payroll department.

Coordinates, and communicates benefit and wellness strategic initiatives.

In coordination with HR Business Partners, consults with managers, and makes recommendations on all employee leaves of absence.

Serves as primary point of contact for assigned business lines. The primary point of contact assists employees with all benefit and leave related issues.

Provides ongoing education to employees and managers on leaves of absences (i.e. FMLA, ADA, Unpaid Leave, etc)

Works with all benefit vendors and Third-Party Administrators (TPA). Serves as a liaison between employees and vendors/TPAs as needed.

Manages and coordinates the benefit open enrollment season October

5 years of experience as Benefits Administrator

o Must be familiar with FMLA and COBRA as well as other federal laws that impact benefits

Bachelors degree preferred if no degree, candidate needs to have 7 years of experience

Must be proficient with HRIS databases and Microsoft Office

o UltiPro is highly preferred

Excellent communication skills written and verbal

US cit or Greencard
