Immediate Need!Strategic Analysis, Inc. (SA) seeks a Communications Specialist to support strategic engagement initiatives for the Space Development Agency (SDA). SDA is responsible for the development and fielding of DoD's future threat-driven National Defense Space Architecture. The agency is using novel approaches to accelerate military space capabilities to ensure U.S. technological and military advantage in space for national defense. This is an exciting role offering the chance to work in a dynamic and collaborative defense organization with experts from across the space domain who are experienced in delivering capabilities to the warfighter and are passionate about the SDA mission.On-site work in Chantilly, VA, and the Pentagon (Arlington, VA) is anticipated. Telework options are available within the Washington, DC commuting area.RESPONSIBILITIES--- Draft and deliver strategic communications plans for the SDA that result in effective engagements with key audiences and stakeholders, including the media, public sector leadership and collaborators, Congress, industry, academia, and the nonprofit sector.--- Develop read-aheads, white papers, and other material for key engagements between SDA leadership, international acquisition and policy communities, and other audiences.--- Lead the development and monitoring of social media strategies, including draft of key messaging for LinkedIn and Twitter engagement.QUALIFICATIONSClearance: TS/SCI is required. Exceptional candidates with an active secret clearance may be considered.Education: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.Experience/Skills:--- Minimum six (6) years' recent or relevant experience, including developing executive-level communications, talking points, and briefings in project management/support positions within the DoD or IC. Minimum eight (8) years' experience required for the senior level.--- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.--- Ability to perform at a high-level, without detailed guidance, within short deadlines.--- Experience with social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Twitter, is highly preferred. Experience with Sprout Social to achieve workflow coordination and rollout is a plus.You will be required to adhere to all COVID guidelines and regulations in place for any location where you will perform work.
