Job Description:

Overview: CDT is looking to add an Information Assurance Engineer (IAE) Level 3 to conduct information systems security engineering activities throughout the lifecycle. IAEs are responsible for capturing and refining information protection requirements to ensure their integration into information systems acquisitions and information system development through purposeful security design or configuration. The contractor integrates security functional requirements into existing acquisition lifecycle phases, milestones, and documents using systems engineering principles and methodologies. Personnel shall be knowledgeable of best practices when implementing security controls including software engineering methodologies, security engineering methodologies, security engineering principles, and secure coding techniques and coordinates activities with assessment and authorization stakeholders.



Clearance:An active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Poly is required. Candidates who do not meet these clearance requirements will not be considered.



Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree + 8 years of experienceORHS/GED/Associates Degree + 15 years of experienceORMasters Degree or higher + 6 years of experience IAT Level 3 cybersecurity certificationcurrently hold or able to obtain an IAT-3 within 6 months of starting the position
  
  Responsibilities:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Knowledge of and experience with ICD 503 and the GovernmentsAssessment and Authorization (A&A)process.
    
  • Proficient with networks, computer components, system protocols, and COTS technology.
    
  • Knowledge of system methodologies including client/server, web hosting, web content servers, policy servers, directory servers, firewalls, WAN, MAN, LAN, switches, and routers.
    
  • Expertise in software integration of COTS and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) products.
    
  • Technical experience in configuring and supporting, at a minimum, Windows, Linux, Unix, and Mac OS.
    
  • Experience configuring and supporting VMware, Xen, Hyper V, and other virtualization platforms.
    
  • Technical experience in software engineering, project management, program design and implementation, configuration management, system maintenance, software and information system engineering, and integration testing.
