Currently we have an immediate need to add an experienced:



Cyber Security Project Engineer

Location: Chantilly VA(on-site client environment)

Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph

Compensation:Competitive, Excellent Benefits



Only applicants with the active required security clearance and are U.S. Citizens will be reviewed.



The office develops and implements the overarching technology strategy for Sponsor business systems which builds, deploys, and maintains corporate business applications supporting financial, security, medical, human resources, facilities, logistics, travel, and acquisitions. The office supports corporate business applications, while identifying and promoting information technology and program management best practices. The need is for support of an office level cybersecurity program. This is part of a continuous monitoring effort to maintain accreditation status of the IT systems supported by an IT office..



Desired Qualifications:


  • Coordinate with external partners and internal cybersecurity personnel to track, task, and monitor cybersecurity issues, status, and activities at the office level.
  • Report with applicate stakeholders and on critical action items in a time sensitive manner.
  • Identify, sponsor, and implement improvements activities that can enhance the cybersecurity posture of the systems the organization supports.
  • Monitor and provide requirements to cybersecurity dashboards
  • Validate and oversee vulnerability scanning across all of the IT systems supported by office.
  • Present and track actionable findings to improve the vulnerability status of office systems.
  • Categorize levels of risk associated with the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with product owners and development support teams to address issues found.
  • Identify solutions for the product strategic direction.
  • Identify cybersecurity system issues and corresponding mitigation solutions.


    Key Duties:



  • Demonstrated experience with Information systems security engineering
  • Demonstrated experience with development and support of IT systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with Cybersecurity
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing results from vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and tracking cybersecurity problem resolution of IT systems.


    Additional Qualifications:


    • Demonstrated experience working directly with Front Office or Executive level staff and customers.
    • CISSP certification
    • Demonstrated experience with Sponsors cybersecurity Assessment & Authorization process.
