Position Description:
CGI Federal is seeking a talented and experienced Systems Architect to join our organization. The Systems Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex systems that meet the business requirements of our clients. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and design solutions that integrate hardware, software, and networking components. The Systems Architect will also be responsible for ensuring that the systems meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
--- Support the development of cross functional or large-scale automated information systems to include enterprise architectures
--- Design system architectures to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements and provides for present and future cross functional requirements and interfaces
--- Provide comprehensive definition of all aspects of system development from analysis of mission needs to verification of system performance
--- Performs evaluation of system alternatives and assessment of risks and costs
--- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and design systems that meet their needs.
--- Develop and maintain system architecture models, including conceptual, logical, and physical views.
--- Evaluate and recommend technologies and solutions that meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
--- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
--- 8+ years of relevant work experience of experience in systems architecture or related field.
--- Strong knowledge of system architecture principles, including service-oriented architecture, microservices, and cloud-based architecture.
--- Experience with enterprise-scale hardware and software systems.
--- Experience in designing and developing complex systems.
--- Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols.
--- Experience with data modeling and database design.
--- Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards related to system security and data protection.
--- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $176,770 - $230,100
