Henkels & McCoy, Inc. (H&M) is a leading utility construction firm providing critical infrastructure for the Power, Communications, Oil & Gas Pipeline, and Gas Distribution markets throughout North America. H&M is seeking a full time Operations Coordinator to join our team working out of our Chantilly, VA office.General Overview:This position supports both project and warehouse operations. The employee is responsible for receiving and managing materials, equipment, stock and field supplies, physically loading, and unloading trucks, moving and repositioning materials using forklifts and other machinery. Administrative responsibilities include ordering materials, receiving materials and processing invoices. Warehouse personnel work both indoors and outside in a team environment and provide support to office and project administration. Must be willing to learn the business from the ground up - occasionally working/training in the field as an installer.Major Job Elements:* Responsible for accurate tool assignment and inventory returns.* Responsible for the warehouse organization.* Responsible for receiving and managing materials.* Assist with ordering materials* Assist with equipment tracking/ maintenance.* Provide assistance to office administration and supervision.* Assist with financial tracking and reporting of project related data.* Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:* Previous work experience in a warehouse environment including receiving, ordering, and tracking materials.* Minimum educational requirement is a High School diploma or G.E.D.* Exhibit skills and attitude which demonstrate to Company policies, principles, and processes.* Ability to follow directions and work independently or part of a team.* Must be able to operate/ drive all warehouse equipment, previous experience operating a forklift a plus.* Must be capable to spend the day doing various physical activities to include walking up/ downstairs and standing for extended periods of time. Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs.* Valid driver''s license with a 36-month clean driving record* Ability and willing to pass VDOT physical exam and be able to drive up to 30-foot box truck.* Warehouse personnel need basic computer skills and strong communication skills (reading, writing, speaking) to effectively communication with others.* Ability to make deliveries in the Washington, DC Metro areaHenkels & McCoy, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Females, Protected Veterans, and Individual with Disabilities.
