About the Position
Systems Engineers employ core engineering competency, deep knowledge of customer domain, and progressive leadership experience leveraging multiple technical/engineering disciplines as required to solve complex customer problems in the most cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities:

  Solving enterprise-wide and enterprise-level problems.

  Leading a team of diverse engineers at times but also contribute as an individual when required.

  Work bottom-up (integration and analysis) while aggressively striving to be more top-down (engineering and allocation).

  Directly engaging with the government and providing meaningful and value-added recommendations in a format and style that is agreeable, expected.
  
  
• 
  Communicating at different levels of detail as required ensuring top-to-bottom and end-to-end coordination.

  About the Required

    Active Top Secret security clearance; Must be SCI eligible, with CI Poly (or willing to obtain)
    
    
  • 
    BS in Engineering with 10-15 years of progress leadership experience.
    
    
  • 
    Demonstrated experience effectively applying Systems Thinking in a dynamic and tailored manner depending on project needs.
    
    
  • 
    Demonstrated experience at architecture (solution) development and management across multiple effectivities, including mission/system needs identification and triage, impact assessment, options identification and recommendations, requirements derivation/changes, and related governance coordination.
    
    
  • 
    Proficiencies at identifying and management of performance margins.
    
    
  • 
    Demonstrated experience continuously identifying and appropriately mitigating top risks to ensure successful project/system closure.
    
    
  • 
    Experience in related test planning and test execution at equivalent engineering level. Includes development of test strategy, test cases, test procedures, and identification of resources needed to successfully integrate and test.
    
    
  • 
    Experience in all related Systems Engineering Management processes, such as risk management, configuration management, etc.
    
    
    About the Desired
    
    • 
      
    • 
      MS in Systems Engineering
      
      
    • 
      Demonstrated experience working at multiple levels of engineering, from Enterprise to acquisition.
      
      
    • 
      Demonstrated experience leveraging computer aided Systems Engineering tools (i.e. MBSE) for efficiency gains, to include traditional Systems Engineering tools (Vitech CORE/GENESYS, Innoslate) and/or newer SysML modeling tools (Cameo, Rhapsody).
      
      
    • 
      Possess an INCOSE System Engineering certification equivalent to position (CSEP, ESEP).
