The Rubik's Cube program is where technology and teamwork come together to meet the unique needs of the Intelligence Community. The Rubik's Cube program is comprised of multiple mission-focused projects ranging from mobile development to secure environments and data transfer development. Rubik's Cube tasks include system design, engineering development, system integration, development test, maintenance, and training. The location of this position is in Chantilly, Virginia.Primary responsibilities of a successful candidate will include:Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.Documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with software engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; utility programs, and operating systems.Ensures software standards are met.Basic Qualifications:Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraphBachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM related discipline8+ years software engineering experienceExperience scripting in a language such as Bash, Python or JavaScriptExperience in Encryption Methodologies and/or NetworkingAbility to write scripts and tools, as needed, with minimal guidanceAbility to provide written and verbal Software Security AssessmentsUnderstanding/knowledge of Secure Coding PracticeExperience working in a Linux environmentPreferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Computer Science or STEM related disciplineExperience working with mobile systemsExperience or knowledge of Android OS internalsAgile development lifecycleLinux Kernel knowledgeNOVAJBSalary Range: $142,800 USD - $214,200 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
