than ourselves. Job Summary Our summer 2024 interns will directly
make use of sophisticated simulation tools to perform space and
ground design and analysis in support of architecture concept trade
studies, requirements verification, analyses-of-alternatives (AoA),
system-of-systems performance modeling, and mission utility
analysis. They will work as part of a team on multiple projects
tailored to their skills and interests and collaborate with other
analysts to expand their knowledge of analysis and data
visualization techniques. Each intern will be assigned a mentor.
Work Model Hybrid: This position will require on-site support in
either El Segundo, CA, Chantilly, VA, or Colorado Springs, CO with
partial remote work options. What You'll Be Doing: Contribute to
analysis teams, collaborate with peers, satisfy project objectives
and tasks, track performance, and complete projects Help with
sustainment, development, and growth of simulation and analysis
capabilities to support new functional areas for a diverse customer
base Use analysis results to support recommendations for customer
research, development, and acquisition decisions Provide technical
insights in the areas of space system architecture modeling and
coverage analysis What You Need to be Successful Minimum
Requirements: Bachelors degree and accepted to or enrolled in an
advanced degree program (Master's or Ph.D) in aerospace,
astronautical, or mechanical engineering, physics, operations
research, mathematics, or a related field of science or engineering
A history that shows personal accountability, a willingness to
learn and self-correct, and an ability to adapt to changing
customer expectations Familiarity with orbital mechanics, dynamics,
or mathematics related to satellites Skills in the development and
use of computer software tools This position requires the ability
to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the
US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security
clearance. How You Can Stand Out It would be impressive if you have
one or more of these: Working knowledge of C/C++, Python, Fortran,
or other programming languages Skill in use of analysis tools such
as STK, GMAT, AFSIM, or similar Experience developing analysis
results and presenting them to various sized audiences Active Top
Secret Clearance (TS) with SCI access Temporary housing assistance

business. The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below.
Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide
variety of factors including but not limited to education,
experience, knowledge and skills. (Min - Mid - Max) $30.00 - $35.00
