Job Description:
Responsibilities Peraton is seeking an experienced and
accomplished Systems Integration Engineer to support fast-paced
developmental project. The candidate will work with senior
management, technical project directors, systems engineers,
customer stakeholders, mission partners, and vendors to assist in
the development of emerging technologies in the robotics field. The
candidate will provide project management and engineering support
in all aspect of the project including development of budget plans,
project plans, resource plans, logistics, requirements,
architecture design, and CONOP development. Examples of duties
include but not limited to: Provide proactive programmatic and
technical support. Provide assessments of the vendor technical
delivery, identify, and track the critical path of development
activities, identify and track action items discussed during
program reviews. Consolidate, de-conflict, and help prioritize
existing and future requirements across development efforts,
integrators, partners, and other stakeholders. Coordinate and track
active CONOP and integration exercise development. Identify
programmatic and technical risks to the program. Work with program
teams, COTRs, and element leads to mitigate and address risks.
Assist in managing the project budgets. Interface with program
teams and management to understand and draft responses to upcoming
data calls, briefing packages, budget exercises, and other
business. Interface with multiple elements, both formally and
informally on behalf of the team to understand current and future
development projects to support team requirements. Assist in the
development of technical strategies. Coordinate and track new and
existing requirements, define trades, and help define the
government's technical direction. Support testing and evaluation of
new technologies and make recommendations on suitability for
operational use. Coordinate closely on system
development/integration. Qualifications Required Skills Ability to
coordinate and organize weekly team and other meetings (room
reservations, invitations, agenda, and notes). Ability to manage
project logistics including purchasing, shipping, and inventory.
Ability to maintain and refine master integrated schedules for the
planning, deploying, operating, and maintaining complex development
robotic systems through the entire lifecycle. Ability to develop
and execute system test plans and facilitate equipment
accreditation. Ability to provide SME level support in real-time to
forward deployed teams. Experience in technical development
programs Solid understanding of Customer organization, culture,
partnerships, and stakeholders. Solid understanding of Customer
programmatic, operational, and technical standards and processes.
Excellent communication skills with tangible examples of working
with internal and external team members. Excellent interpersonal
skills with experience using the power of persuasion to progress
large and/or complex tasking. Ability to work as a team or
independently to help develop hardware and software. Track record
of being a "self-starter". Ability to travel to vender sites in
CONUS locations for technical engagements. Desired Skills
Experience with system/device testing. Experience with advanced
robotic systems. Experience with field operational elements and
overseas travel. Experience collaborating with multiple
organizations/mission partners. Experience with I&T, ORE,
training, and mission planning activities. Experience blending
operations and engineering. Experience and Education: Prior
customer experience TS/SCI with Poly BS 10-12, MS 8-10, Phd 5-7

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for
