for more details. Responsibilities In this customer-facing,
team-oriented position will support the Sponsor's organization
responsible for security and operations program. Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to the following: * Develop a
technology roadmap for operation IT support technology and cyber
security technology. With an understanding for organizations
monitoring capabilities, leads and suggest program initiatives to
enhance both O&M and cyber monitoring.
* Lead the organization's strategic, imperative, and goals for
program, tracking, monitoring. * Gather program technical
operational capabilities and develop requirements for program's
engineering group. * Work independently to identify key technical
points of contact within program, synthesize operational needs
based on strategic goals of the organization.
* Track requirements with points of contract in program's
engineering group, identifying roadblock and taking action to
eliminate them.
* Identify when requirements are not meeting/not going to meet
program's expectations (cost, schedule, scope).
* Monitor and provide guidance to implementing organizations.
* Experience and ability to effectively work with implementing
organizations to ensure timely execution of requirements.
* Understanding and anticipating information gaps and coordinating
across multiple service providers.
* Test IT operations capabilities, offer technology improvement
recommendations.
* Ability to create and communicate for group level
communications.
Qualifications Required: * Must possess and be able to maintain a
TS/SCI with a polygraph
* A degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science,
Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or
technical discipline.
* BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7
* Analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create original
concepts/theories for various projects.
* Technology Design - Adapting equipment and technology to serve
user needs.
* Ability to logically and systematically convert customer product
requirements into total system solution the acknowledge technical,
schedule, and cost constraints.
* Ability to analyze and study complex system requirements, for
example:
* Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, cost estimation,
trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition.
Studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and
software specifications.
* Apply the concept of operations set of disciplines for the
planning, analysis, design and construction of information systems
across a major sector of the organization.
* Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and
technology.
* Experience with activity and data modeling, transaction flow
analysis, internal control and risk analysis and modern business
methods and performance measurements techniques.
* Ability to fully perform tasks requiring the collection,
compiling, evaluating, and publishing of information and
statistical data.
* Ability to convey technical information to non-technical
individuals.
* Strong oral and written communications and interpersonal
skills.
* Complex Problem Solving - Identifying complex problems and
reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and
implement solutions.
Desired: Contractor personnel at all skill levels may have the
following desired experience and skills: * Ability to work in a
dynamic and challenging environment. * Ability to coordinate with
engineers, systems analysts, programmers, technicians, scientist
and top-level managers in the coordination and planning of
programs
* Ability to apply critical thinking to identify strengths and
weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to
problems.
