seeking a System Architect for a large Defense Intelligence program
chartered to support the Analysis Orchestration Services in
providing governance, integration, deployment, and operations and
sustainment of the current suite of services and future integrated
capabilities. Our customer provides strategic intelligence,
warfighter support, indications and warning, safety of navigation,
foundation data, humanitarian and disaster relief, special event
planning, and homeland defense. -The System Architect (SA) is
responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and
secure systems that support the defined business needs and aligns
with the organization's higher strategic intent. Primary
responsibilities include:
- Ensure analysis of alternatives are conducted and prioritized
to ensure the Government properly architects' business and mission
solutions using optimum systems and services.
- Works closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile
development environment and works to ensure that the Agile release
trains are aligned with the organization's technology
landscape.
- Define and support the implementation of enabler capabilities,
consistent choice and use of technologies, regulatory compliance,
standards, and higher-level Nonfunctional Requirements (NFRs).
- Ensure that system design evolves in line with a shared
architectural intent and the practical reality of implementation
and work with other groups to establish optimal architectures and
processes for system integration and testing.
- Support DevOps and Continuous Delivery Pipeline, along with
Evolve System Design with the team and Align Architecture with
business priorities.Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information
Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management
Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or 5 years of
experience as a Systems Architect.
- 8+ years of experience in leading the development of complex
systems and applications.
- Working experience designing, implementing, and operating in a
DevSecOps environment of comparable size and complexity.
- Develop and maintain architecture documentation, including
design patterns, models, and diagrams.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks
to improve system performance, scalability, and security.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development
teams.
- Proven written and oral communications skills targeted at all
levels of an organization.
- Strategic planning, looking ahead to the retirement and future
posture of capabilities and driving progress in that
direction.
- Expertise in cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Oracle
Cloud Infrastructure).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or
similar.
- Solid knowledge of database design and management.Security

- An active TS/SCI.Preferred Qualifications:
- One or more Certifications to include, but are not limited to
the following:
- Cloud Certified Solutions Architect
- AWS Certified
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP7-CMA)
- Experience with OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar.
- Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology,
Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information
Systems, or related STEM degree program.
- Previous IC or DoD program/project work experience.Original

above.Pay Range:Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00The Leidos pay
range for this job level is a general guideline only -and not a

skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with
