• Support large, enterprise footprint deployments of Elasticsearch in a fast-paced, mission environment.
• Provide full troubleshooting support to Elasticsearch deployments as needed, including system and software levels.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize Elasticsearch environments.
• Upgrade Elasticsearch as required.
• Support the architecture, design, and deployment of new Elasticsearch clusters or capabilities as needed.
• Optimize Elasticsearch capabilities and work with other team members to ensure the highest possible level of data/search parity.
• Create, review, and maintain information technology documentation, particularly related to Elasticsearch capabilities and requirements.Requirements:
  • 2+ years of relevant Information Technology experience.
  • Strong Linux administration experience, including configuring and maintaining Linux servers.
  • Strong scripting experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with automated management and deployment systems, ideally Ansible.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch in a large and complex environment.
  • High School Diploma/GED.Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with the design, implementation, and management of large Elasticsearch clusters.
    • Experience interfacing Hadoop with Elasticsearch.
    • Experience interfacing RDBMS implementations with Elasticsearch.
    • Experience supporting multiple simultaneous development implementations with Elasticsearch.
    • Experience performing Elasticsearch diagnostics and performance tuning.Clearance Requirements:
      • TS/SCI with Polygraph.Physical Requirements:
        • Use hands to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
        • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
