Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Administration of Justice, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, or a related field, or the equivalent, plus a minimum of 5 years relevant experience; or a Master's degree with at least 3 years relevant experience. General Dynamics experience is strongly preferred. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is required at the time of hire. Applicants will undergo a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of work performed within our facilities.Responsibilities for this PositionGeneral Dynamics Mission Systems has an opening for an FSO supporting our Annapolis Junction, MD location.Must Haves:

• Hold a Top Secret security clearance and obtain SCI access within 6 months.
• 2-5 years' experience as an FSO or relevant experience with the DCSA and other government agencies.
• Experience with NISS, DISS, and NBIS accounts for personnel security and clearance management.
• Bachelor's degree or applicable experience in a related field.
  • Current FSO Certification for Possessing Facilities.
  • Working knowledge of applicable federal laws, executive orders, directives, and regulations, including CFR 32, Rule 5305, and Executive Orders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to assess, detect, and resolve security-related issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Proficient knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), NSA Communications Security (COMSEC) 90-1 Manual.Salary NoteThis estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
