Engility is seeking experienced system engineers to join a team of technology innovators and investigators supporting a customer in the Intelligence Community. The team is charged with conducting research into a variety of state-of-the-art technologies with a focus on secure communications; Internet architectures, applications, and protocols; radio frequency concepts; and robotics. Team members will work closely with principal investigators in support of multiple small efforts focused on the creation of prototype devices or capabilities, which are intended to eventually be transitioned to end customers. Qualifications: * Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph * Requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years' experience as a systems engineer supporting the Intelligence Community. (Or Master's degree and a minimum of 4 years' experience in the IC.) * Experience applying a system's life cycle (requirements, engineering designs, documentation, usability, integration, test, deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and decommissioning) to a specific engineering domain. * Experience identifying system integrity issues and solutions * Experience ensuring that all technical and operational disciplines are applied to the project development process. * Experience ensuring that authorized system engineering tasks will satisfy the control gate requirements of each phase. * Demonstrated analytical reasoning skills. * Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment. * Experience dealing with complex situations in a fast-paced environment. * Demonstrated experience briefing audiences with various backgrounds (technical and non-technical) * Experience with at least one of the following technology areas: * Machine learning * Internet architectures, applications, and protocols * Robotics * Multimedia analytics * Advanced radio frequency (RF) concepts * Biometrics * Human behavior science EEO Statement: Engility Corporation is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
