Engility is dedicated to making lives better, safer and more secure.Description: Engility is seeking a Mission Engineering Systems Engineer to join the Space and Mission Systems Group (SMSG) in our Chantilly, VA office. SMSG provides specialized engineering, analysis and operations support to a variety of Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) customers. We support the generation after next of national security-related systems based in space, in the air and on the ground. SMSG has an opening for an engineer to provide systems engineering and technical advisory services to an IC research and development (R&D) customer. The customer is developing the next-generation of architectures, hardware and software solutions for the IC. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide system engineering support working closely with a team of experts developing and implementing automated, adaptive, multi-int closed loop alerting, tipping, tasking and post collection processing system of systems Provide expertise in Intelligence Problem Decomposition in support of automated closed loop operations Provide satellite tasking and ground processing expertise Developing requirements, DODAF architecture products, CONOPS, schedule, test and experiment plans Assist in Program and Acquisition Planning encompassing evolving R&D activities, campaigns, roadmaps, and external elements Update Statements of Work (SOW) to support and Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) Provide technical review and assessment of ongoing development activities and technical evaluation of proposals of contractors and government labs Coordinate and facilitate technical exchange meetings between various organizations, COCOMS, intelligence customers/users Develop documents and briefings to communicate work or study status and brief management as required Work with various R&D organizational elements to promote Technology Readiness Level (TRL) advancement Qualifications: Active TS/SCI Clearance with polyBS in Engineering or relevant science discipline (i.e., EE, CS)14 years of relevant work experienceTechnical understanding of Satellite tasking, collection and ground processing systems and CONOPSAcquisition SETA experienceDemonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and energetic environmentEffective interpersonal skills and strong briefing and writing skillsDesired Qualifications:GEOINT Systems and Collection Management experienceExperience with relevant GEOINT and SIGINT tasking/processing, visualization systems5 years GEOINT/SIGINT/All Source Analyst experienceSoftware engineering experience including development of cloud services and working knowledge with computer languages such as JAVA and XML MS in Engineering or relevant science discipline (i.e., EE, CS)Systems Engineering experience focused on R&D activitiesEEO Statement:Engility Corporation is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
