Job Summary: Perform test processes to ensure and verify that
equipment/instrumentation produced by DYNEX manufacturing conforms
and meets published specifications.Essential Functions:
Electro-Mechanical assembly using standard tool box items
(screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, vices, assembly tools, calipers,
depth gauge, and assembly fixtures, etc.). Test and verify proper
performance of Dynex manufactured products. Ensure that the
procedures and qualification tools used during testing are correct.
Verify that all tests have been performed and are acceptable prior
to release to consolidation Fill out all testing documentation (QC
folders, scrap forms, test summary sheets, etc.) Inform the
appropriate departments of non-conforming issues found during
testing. Offer suggestions for improvement of testing processes.
Follow all implemented Lean Manufacturing Techniques and Barcoding
process. Perform other work related duties as assigned.Supervisory
Success Factors: Ability to work independently with little
direction. Dependable and attention to details oriented. Able to
prioritize multiple tasks from multiple sources. Highly organized.
Willing to take on a variety of tasks. Regular and reliable
attendanceMinimum Qualifications/Education: Associates degree or
equivalent experience. Electrical and mechanical aptitude.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Working knowledge
of Windows based software systems. Strong problem solving skills.
Robotics and automation experience a plus. Lean Manufacturing
experience a plus. Must be able to read, write and speak
English.Computer Skills: Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel,
Word, Access. Outlook - basic level) and to learn to use
preparatory software. Basic knowledge of networking (logging,
searching, saving test data into a specific network folder).
Ability to use Inventory and Manufacturing Barcoding system, using
workstations and fixed barcode scanners. All applicants will be
subject to a basic tests during the interview.Work Environment:
Manufacturing Floor.Physical Requirements: Must be able to meet
National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH)
