Epidemiology Programmer/AnalystChantilly , VirginiaApplyType:ContractCategory:Scientific & ClinicalJob ID:217887Date Posted:03/30/2021System One seeks a Epidemiology Programmer/Analyst to work collaboratively with epidemiology project leads to conduct analyses in one or more real world data source, including administrative claims, electronic medical records, and all payer. Conduct SAS programming to analyze claims and spontaneous action reports to identify relationships and trends in data to study drug safety profiles in the pharmaceutical industry. Identify and extract cohorts for patients using multi-factor algorithms. Create custom variables for drug and clinical exposures and for clinical events. Execute descriptive and longitudinal analyses including, time to event, logistic regression, and Poisson Models. Plan and execute data analysis for Health Economics and Outcome Research (HEOR) studies. Create streamlined data processing by implementing efficiencies and structure in data analysis tasks. Build logistical regression models. Create SAS macros to automate data requests. Prepare proposals for regulatory submission, contribute to literature reviews of adverse event studies, and submit peer reviewed publications. Utilize Real World Data (RWD) and SAS to perform the above listed duties. Qualified applicants must have a Masters Degree in Biostatistics, Applied Pharmaceutical Sciences, Epidemiology, or a foreign equivalent, and at least 2 years of experience in the job offered or a substantially similar position performing the following duties: analyze and interpret statistical data to identify significant differences in relationships among sources of information for the pharmaceutical industry; conduct SAS programming to analyze claims and spontaneous action reports to identify relationships and trends in data to study drug safety profiles; plan and execute data analysis for Health Economics and Outcome Research (HEOR) studies; create streamlined data processing by implementing efficiencies and structure in data analysis tasks; build logistical regression models; create SAS macros to automate data requests; and prepare proposals and contribute to literature reviews of adverse event studies.
