The SharePoint Analyst shall be able to administer SharePoint-enabled solutions to satisfy design objectives. Duties and responsibilities involve the administration of SharePoint servers, back end SQL servers, and other supporting Windows based servers as well as system documentation, analyzing and troubleshooting system anomalies, and ensuring optimal information system performance. This position is part of a team of IT Systems Engineers and Systems AdministratorsResponsibilities include, but are not limited to: --

  • Experience in deploying, configuring, and customizing SharePoint 2010
  • Possess a good understanding of business applications, work with technical staff to understand and resolve software problems
  • Ability to resolve customer complaints with software solutions and respond to suggestions for software modification or enhancements
  • Experience in developing and deploying custom workflow activities in SharePoint designer 2010.
  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Experience securing and optimizing applications
  • Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct.--
  • Collaborate with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes.
  • Perform revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
  • Proficient with SharePoint Designer, Windows Workflow Foundation and Visual Studio
  • Write or contribute to instructions or manuals to guide end users.
  • JAFAN 6/3, DCID 6/3 experience is a plus
  • Security+ certifications are a plus
  • Microsoft certifications are a plusBasic Qualifications: --
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field preferred. 2-4 years of experience.
    • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, collaborative environment.
    • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills required.Security Clearance Requirements: --
      • US Citizenship required and active TS clearance adjudicated within the last 6 years--
      • Candidate must be willing to submit to a random CI polygraphPhysical Requirements: --
        • This is a sedentary position.
        • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
        • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc.--
        • The person in this position must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.--
