seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Logistics
Analyst, Lead to join our team in the Chantilly, VA area to provide
unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and
rewarding career within ManTech.As a Logistics Analyst, you will be
responsible for providing complete logistics support and management
of warehouse operations to our customer. You will be expected to
provide expertise in equipment accountability in accordance with
ManTech and Customers procedures as well as demonstrate hands-on
skills and abilities on a regular basis.Responsibilities include,
but are not limited to:
- Manage and coordinate small procurement purchases working
directly with the customer/vendors.
- Create purchase requests/purchase orders and reconcile all
purchases under $10K in PeopleSoft.
- Maintain working relationship with vendors/manufacturers.
- Solicit quotes/product information from
vendors/manufacturers.
- Communicate frequently with co-workers, management, vendors,
and customers exchanging accurate information.
- Review/approve quotes for all procurement purchase for accuracy
working closely with the vendors and Corporate Buyer.
- Create DD250 forms for customer signature to transfer equipment
from ManTech to the customer Property books.
- Support Engineering to obtain information on new
equipment.
- Track estimated delivery of procurement.
- Work closely with Warehouse on all deliveries for
accountability and resolve any delivery issues.
- Management and control of Government property for our customer,
providing the appropriate inventory and property accountability
control necessary to precisely track 100% of the customers
inventory.
- Creating, updating, and implementing logistics support Standard
Operating Procedures (SOP) which detail the specifics of proper
asset management and inventory control.
- Verify and validate accuracy of property management record in
the Systems Applications, and Products (SAP) database
- Obtain SAP certifications and ensure certification remains
current.
- Familiarity with industries and government logistics and
property accountability manuals, regulations, and directives.
- Conducting periodic inventory sampling of accountable property
to assure sound inventory control measures are in place.
- Maintain detailed accounting of all temporary and permanent
transfers of government property using applicable documentation and
customer directives and instructions.
- Shipping and receiving equipment in support of customer
operations complying with existing procedures, instructions, and
directives.
- Recommend and execute strategies to address audit
findings.
- Able to review a broad range of complex inventory records and
requirements; track, report and develop recommendations; interface
with subcontractors and customers to ensure requirements are
satisfied
- Detail oriented and organized; able to understand complex
inventory control and tracking requirements; ensure accuracy
- Strong ability to identify issues, risks, concerns and develop
course of action to mitigate the issue and alleviate
recurrence
- Proficient in the use of the MS Office family of products,
email, and government logistics practicesRequirements:
- Logistics experience supporting the US Government
- Strong business communication skills with strong verbal
communications to interface effectively
- Security + certification is preferred.
- Requires Bachelors Degree in a related field or applicable
commercial or DoD experience
- Five years of related logistics experience.
- Microsoft Office Skills including Excel, Office, etc.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Type of travel: Continental USPhysical Requirements:
- Must be able to walk for long periods of time within a
warehouse or customer workplace setting to conduct inventories and
inspect equipment
- Inventories and inspections may also require bending,
squatting, and maneuvering around crowed locations
- Must be able to lift and move 50 lb. equipment and boxes
- Must be able to operates a computer and other office
productivity equipmentSecurity Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have a current Top Secret / SCI clearance w/POLYFor all
