BA Job Summary: As a Junior Business Analyst, you will play a
crucial role in supporting our organization's projects and
initiatives by assisting in the gathering, analysis, and
documentation of business requirements. You will work closely with
senior business analysts, project managers, and various
stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Key
Responsibilities: Requirement Elicitation: Assist in gathering and
documenting business requirements by conducting interviews,
surveys, and workshops with stakeholders. Documentation: Create and
maintain clear and detailed requirement documents, including user
stories, use cases, and functional specifications. Data Analysis:
Help analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that
can inform business decisions. Process Mapping: Assist in creating
process models (e.g., flowcharts) to visualize current and future
business processes. Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with
team members and stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of
project objectives and requirements. Quality Assurance Support:
Work with quality assurance teams to define test cases and assist
in testing activities to ensure that solutions meet specified
requirements. Project Coordination: Support project managers in
task tracking, project documentation, and reporting. Research and
Analysis: Conduct research and analysis on industry best practices
and emerging trends to contribute to project recommendations.
Documentation Management: Maintain version control and traceability
of requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Ad-hoc Tasks:
Assist with various ad-hoc tasks and projects related to business
analysis as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business
administration, Information Technology, or related field. Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication
skills, both written and verbal. Detail-oriented with a focus on
accuracy. Basic understanding of business analysis concepts and
methodologies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially
Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to work collaboratively in a
team and adapt to changing project priorities. Eagerness to learn
and grow in the field of business analysis. Strong organizational
and time-management skills. Experience with business analysis tools
or software is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Internship or
coursework related to business analysis. Knowledge of
industry-standard business analysis frameworks, such as BABOK
(Business Analysis Body of Knowledge).
