HOW A CONFIGURATION ANALYST ASSOCIATE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Provides configuration management support to assigned projects.
We receive the customer's order from the service catalog or as a
non-standard service request and manage it as a project.
The analyst uses their judgement to determine if the requested work
is within our scope. Clarifications and additional details are
worked out between the analyst and the customer.
Once the scope is defined, the analyst issues a task to a work
group to do a site survey; the data from that survey becomes part
of the rough order of magnitude (ROM) cost estimate that is
provided to the customer.
The customer agrees to the cost and provides a funding code to
allow for procurement of the items.
Once delivered to the warehouse, the analyst tasks the logistics
team to have the items delivered to the site.
Once delivered to the site, the analyst tasks a work group to do
the installation.
After installation, the analyst follows up with the customer to
ensure everything was delivered and installed correctly.
Attends customer meetings and may serve as primary client
